Be More Dog is more than a memoir about a three-legged dog on an epic road trip. It is a mantra to live by, and this book is the guide.

It is a mantra to live by, and this book is the guide. This heartwarming tale is filled with deep meaning. Love that dog was a great poetry book. It would be a good poetry read for people who don't read poetry a lot or don't like poetry because it has an easy concept.

It was easy to follow along with and it was a great read for me. I normally don't like poetry book and I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did.4/5. In A Life With Dogs, Roger Welsch has written one of his most entertaining volumes yet, a collection of essays reflecting on mankind's significant other, the dog.

Roger's love of dogs is apparent in every page of this book, and his enthusiasm for the subject adds a level of sparkle to his wit that transcends even his beloved tractor books/5(16).

Grain free or not it is all not even close to what a dog or a cat needs to be healthy and live a long disease free life. Read more. 4 people found this helpful. Helpful.

Comment Report abuse. Golden Mom. out of 5 stars Not just good advice for dogs. Reviewed in the United States on Ap /5(34). This book is full of a lot of stories of different dogs, and I was sad to find that there wasn't a single dog in the book that resembled my dog enough for me to use the same feedback, but it was interesting to read.

There are a lot of stories about the different dogs the auther had worked with. I was interested enough to read the book almost /5(21). The book is beautifully presented with pictures of modern homes in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane together with the dogs who live in them.

A book that can be looked at many times with appealing photographs of architecture, interiors and resident dogs.4/4(2). "Living With Blind Dogs," now in its second edition, is the original and definitive resource book on this topic.

It embodies helpful hints from hundreds of blind-dog owners, as well as years of ophthalmic nursing, veterinary, and dog training experiences/5(). The little dog finger puppet pokes his head out of each page. All of these puppet books are adorable and children love them.

They really help young children stay engaged with the book by providing something active and visual. The book itself is a nice, sturdy, board book and holds up to the occasional slobber/5(33).

Minnesota Book Award winner ― A Native American book. The heart of the Native American experience: In this Minnesota Book Award winner, Kent Nerburn draws the reader deep into the world of an Indian elder known only as ’s a world of Indian towns, white roadside cafes, and abandoned roads that swirl with the memories of the Ghost Dance and Sitting Bull/5().

George and Harold have created a new hero who digs into deception, claws after crooks, and rolls over robbers. When Greg the police dog and his cop companion are injured on the job, a life-saving surgery changes the course of history, and Dog Man is born.

With the head of a dog and the body of a human, this heroic hound has a real nose for justice. Out of this, about 25 million can be classified as neurotic -- a conservative estimate (page 11)." This is just one of many amusing "factoids" found in "How to Live With a Neurotic Dog." This book is a very short and easy read -- almost half of the book is comprised of Eric Gurney's cartoon drawings/5.

omg thats so sad. people should understand that a dog isn't just some animal and you can do whatever u want with him/her theyre a living creature with feelings and thoughts and everything. A dog is forever. I hate people who get so wrapped up in the people in their life that they forget about the animals.

sorry for the long comment:)--lacy. Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man by Michael Hingson was the best dog book I have read in quite a while. It's about a blind man who survived the attack thanks to his Guide Dog who helped him and 76 others get out of Tower 2 before it went down and got him to safety.

This is a downright fascinating book. A few months ago, a friend passed on an article from The New York Times on this study, but this firsthand account of the Dog Project at Emory University is (obviously) a much more in-depth and thorough look at getting a functional MRI to 4/5. Life With Dogs.
